Hasland
At Let’s Connect, our Hub at the Club is a welcoming space where local groups and activities come together to support the community. We’re proud to host a wide range of regular sessions, offering something for all ages and interests while creating opportunities for people to connect, stay active and feel supported.

Many of our wellbeing and social activities sit under the Senior Citizens Group, including Let’s Chat, Coffee, Tea and IT, Otago, chair-based exercise, and a friendly flower arranging group. Alongside these, we host a variety of other sessions such as Hampton Street Art Club, Rethink craft group supporting mental health, Walking 4 Health, a book club, DUWC drop-ins providing financial support and advice, and Coffee, Cake, Create — a supportive group using art therapy for those experiencing trauma, domestic violence, PTSD and anxiety. The Coffee, Tea and IT group is a drop in service aiming to help people build confidence with technology in a relaxed and informal setting.

Beyond our regular timetable, we work closely with partners and community groups to support wider opportunities in Hasland. This includes collaborating with Friends of Eastwood Park on events like Picnic in the Park, supporting Men in Sheds, and linking in with Hasland Club’s monthly midweek matinee. We also have flexible spaces available for new groups, classes, meetings, conferences and parties, helping to create even more opportunities for the community to come together.
